Bio -

Gillian was born in Tampa, Florida where she spent her first 7 years enjoying the sunshine and beaches of Florida.  She then moved to Suwanee, Georgia, discovering her passion for music: first with piano and following this with choir.  After multiple Regional and State choir performances, as well as many piano recitals, she then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and first discovered the beauty of the desert.

In Arizona, Gillian attended Pinnacle High School, graduating in 2006, where she continued her music interests with choir and piano, as well as sampling Speech and Debate, Art, Photography, and Graphic Design. She graduated with honors as a member of the National Honor Society.

Gillian first discovered her interest in architecture through her family, travel, and the video game sensation, The Sims (spending more time designing houses, rather than living each sims' life).  She enrolled in the architecture program at Arizona State University and has never strayed.  In 2008, she was accepted into the Upper Division program and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2010.

During the summer of 2008, Gillian spent one month in France and Portugal, as well as some parts of Spain.  In the past, Gillian has traveled throughout most of the United States, and intends to discover many other areas of the world.

Gillian's current interest in architecture expands across all fields, yet she has a deep interest in public spaces combined with landscape architecture.  She is currently considering a degree in landscape architecture to solidify this relationship between nature and the built environment.
